Welcome to The Identity Project

Identity Management presents major challenges for the development of next generation Internet. Security deficiencies and lack of seamless, robust web-based systems integration technology are major obstacles in the development of public and private Internet based systems.

The Identity Project was funded by JISC to face up to some of those challenges, helping to develop new solutions for the next generation Internet.

Project start & end dates: 1 November 2006 to 31 October 2007.
