Abstract:

AdaptiveInfo provides state-of-the-art personalisation solutions for wireless business and consumer applications. The wireless web has the potential to empower users with access to any information at any time. However, this vision is severely limited by handheld devices with small screens and slow network connections. AdaptiveInfo software learns to prioritise information for each individual user, resulting in an intuitive and rewarding mobile experience. The ability to learn preferences and personalise information delivery increases information usage on mobile devices by over 40%. The Adaptive Information Server (AIS) is a general wireless personalisation platform that supports vertical applications for specific types of information. They offer turnkey solutions for delivery of personalised news, wireless delivery of newsletters, entertainment listings, including restaurants and night clubs, classifieds ads, with specialised modules for real estate listings and automobile listings AdaptiveInfo will produce custom personalisation solutions on request for clients.

Commentary:

An interesting place to learn more about personalisation via alternative media, such as handheld devices. AdaptiveInfo provide access to several demonstration services.
