Access Management

The ANGEL project has been involved in Access Management developments on a variety of levels throughout the lifetime of the project.  Strands are being developed through further JISC funding, and through reports and events.  Activities are outlined below.

PROJECTS

SECURe.
LSE is acting as the UK testbed for Shibboleth, as part of the project developments.  To learn more about Shibboleth, visit the Internet2 web pages.  

REPORTS

The projects team at LSE were commissioned by SURF to produce an Access Management Report as part of the NERLiA project.

The projects team at LSE have been commissioned by JISC to undertake an authentication study on behalf of the NIIMLE and SHELL lifelong learning projects. The papers are now available.   

TECHNOLOGY WATCH

The ANGEL project authentication and authorisation technology watch is ongoing.  News items and sites of interest can be found on the Technology Watch pages.

EVENTS

 - Access Management Conference - Organised by JISC, UCISA, UKERNA

This event was held on the 6th November 2002, and was attended by 75 delegates from across the HE and FE sector. All the speaker presentations, and details from the event are included below.
